78th Tamiya Pachi application (Deadline: September 1, 2018)

Pachi Contest

What is a pachi contest?
The world “Patch” by model matching and video expression matching. It is an AFV model photo contest held once a year, where not only Japanese domestics, but also international forces are gathered. Particularly welcomed works with new products as their main characters. Please blow new breeze with your idea full masterpieces, power capability.

[Scene photography division]
Please photograph the scenery work like real battlefield photos and apply. Military miniature series, world figure series, other Tamiya scale model combined photo is OK.

[Work photography department]
Please appeal the painting technology of vehicles and dolls with photographs. It can be a work made according to the instruction manual of the kit, or a work with remodeling added. You can also use it as a photograph taken in the scene stage.

2018 Application Procedure for 78th Work

■ Applicable products
Please apply in things that mainly use 1/35 military miniature series, 1/48 military miniature series, 1/16 world figure series, 1/25 tank series.
In the scene photography department, even if it is a Tamiya product, it can be used in combination with military miniature products, world figure products, even for other scale models.
Works that are mainly made by other companies’ vehicles and accessories, and in which Tamiya products are only partially visible are not accepted.

■ Photo Types
Photos can be color or black and white. Please apply for color in 2 L size (about 130 × 180 mm), black and white in cabinet size.
We accept works shot with digital camera. Please print with 2L size and apply. In this case, image processing other than adjustment of color tone and contrast of the entire screen is prohibited.

■ Type of
photos Please stick the work cards with tape one by one to the back of the photo.
Be sure to write the title, scale, vehicle name.
When sending photos, please do not break by attaching a mount.
It is fine even for remodeled works with photographs in the process of making the remodeling places easy to understand.
The work is limited to unpublished works.
We will not return the photo, so please be forewarned.

2017 Tobu Tamiya modelers contest awarded works announced

Many works gathered at the venue of Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro store this summer.
In the contest this time that counts the 34th time there are 202 entries that are significantly larger than the last year’s 187 points, and I think that there are many people who actually went to see it, but the exhibition hall is a work filled with power It became full. This time we will introduce the remarkable works from among them. Although it is not possible to introduce all entries, it would be greatly appreciated if you could feel a part of the contest. Nostalgic past revived , Model making that can express the future as expected. The Tamiya Modeler’s Gallery will be held this year as well, an exhibition filled with the charm of the making hobby that anyone can go through once. The attention of this time is the actual car exhibition of Tyrell P34, the only 6-wheel machine F1 history. For older fans, it will be a great item to make time travel in the 1970s. Of course, it displays scale model, mini 4WD and RC model together. Experience events such as Mini 4WD workshop classroom and sweets decoration production will also be carried out. It is an exhibition full of fun to watch, play, shop and forget time.

Tyrell P34 Six Wheeler actual vehicle exhibition
F1 The unique layout of six-wheeled vehicles for the first time in history is still adequate. In 1976 of Debut Year, he won third place in the team ranking and also appeared in Japan’s first Formula One Grand Prix held at Fuji Speedway the same year. This year Tamiya modeled Tyrell P34 for just 40 years. I will exhibit the actual car of Tyrell P34 held by Tamiya in this memorial year.

Koji Ishizaka and his colleagues
will exhibit the works of everyone of the model club “Rokugan” where Mr. Koji Ishizaka, an actor mini gallery acting as chairman, will serve as president. As the name of the party is known from “presbyopia” as you know, everyone is a senior modeler. However, it is only a masterpiece that casually shows how the model is being produced while enjoying it.

At the special circuit in the Mini 4WD event competition, we hold a popular Mini 4WD competition everyday. (Except Sunday) In addition to the competition which anyone can participate three times a day, we will also race only “DCR – 01 (DECLOS – 01)”. In addition to selling kit and parts, we also prepared a pit space for convenient assembly and setting.

Doll Modification Contest is a model contest using a soldier doll of about 1/5 mile height miniature series. From a handy remodeling just changing the pose or combining accessories, artisans who will transform themselves into completely different people and characters, even ideas of fight with the fun of ideas, anyway the soldier dolls are based on Even a bad work OK! Tamiya Grand Prix Mazda Championship Media meeting race experience session

14 people from 13 media participated in the media meeting race experience session

　This time we will have a qualifying twice to compete for the best lap of the lap in 4 minutes and decide the final grid. The final race is a feeling of running a four-minute race with all 13 cars. However, in the actual “Tamiya Grand Prix All-Japan Championship MAZDA Championship”, qualifying competition (2 to 3 minutes) competing twice is done twice. It is said to be once in the final race (3 to 4 minutes).
