Its front suspension arms have a skid angle of 25 degrees, for amazing ground-hugging and stable performance, plus CVA oil dampers to allow smooth suspension movement. Furthermore, the chassis is based on a one-piece monocoque frame, uses the same ball differential as the ones used on the TD4 chassis, plus full ball bearings are used throughout the driveline. The battery pack is positioned transversely as opposed to longitudinally on the TD4, and positioned to the rear. Finally, a midship transverse motor layout with 3 gears connecting it to the drivetrain provide optimum balance and improved performance.

Tamiya 61123 1/48 Lockheed P-38 J Lightning
Our legendary 1/48 Aircraft Series welcomes a new addition in the form of the J variant of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning! Our first P-38 kit, released in late 2019, came in the form of the F/G variant, and it quickly became the definitive P-38 kit of the modeling world.
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was an American twin engine fighter aircraft produced by Lockheed; it was the first Lockheed fighter aircraft which was officially adopted into service. The P-38’s variants were used during World War II and they reached about 10,000 production planes. Equipped with intercoolers under engines, the P-38J Lightning yielded 1,450hp at high altitude and maximum 1,600hp, plus longer-range courtesy of fuel tanks in its wingtip leading edges in addition to the main fuel tank. As a result, the P-38J offered stable and astonishing performance at any altitude, and gained great renown among American fighter aircraft.

New-shape turbo superchargers realistically depict the ones seen in the P-38 J variant.
The second canopy can be depicted open or closed. A 1-part slide-molded piece succinctly and realistically depicts closed canopy. Three parts are used to recreate an openable canopy.
Comes with three marking options, including the “Marge” P-38J which the US ace pilot, Richard Ira Bong flew.
Canopy masking stickers and a full-color painting guide included with the kit.

Tamiya welcomes an updated version of the German Heavy Tank Tiger I Early Production model which was originally released as Item 32504 (die-cast lower hull) in 2004. The Tiger I was one of the most powerful heavy tanks during WWII and its variations have early to late production vehicles. 200 early production vehicles were produced from November 1942 to June 1943 and they were in service in Tunisia from the end of 1942 and Eastern Front, too.
• H parts (lower hull) are from Item 32575 (1/48 German Tiger I Late Production), and E parts (turret)/ F parts (upper hull) based upon Item 32504 are modified for plastic parts’ assembly.
• Lower and side hull are depicted by separate parts (diecast, one-piece hull in Item 32504).
• Assembly type tracks have one-piece straight sections.
• Metal chassis weights give the model a realistic heavy feel.
• Includes two new marking options to depict the 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion (3-color camouflage pattern) or 502nd Heavy Panzer Battalion (overall Dark Yellow).

The Challenger 2 featured an engine based on that of the Challenger 1 (Britain’s main battle tank during the Gulf War), double-pin, double-block tracks and newly designed turret. Its deployment started in 1994, and about 120 Challenger 2s were in service as the main tank of the 7th Armored Brigade in Iraq War in 2003.

Tamiya 35375 1/35 Russian Heavy Tank KV-2
This 1/35 scale assembly kit recreates the Russian Heavy Tank KV-2, a heavier variant of the KV-1 (Item 35372). The Russian Heavy Tank KV-2 was developed and produced at the same time as the KV-1 chassis, but it incorporated a massive, boxy turret equipped with a 152mm howitzer. Although its weight caused frequent machinery failure during the early part of the German-Soviet War from June, 1941, it’s also recorded that one KV-2 single handedly held up one German division, for a few days. The KV-2 concept also played a role in the development of heavy self-propelled guns such as the JSU-152.
Key Model Features:
• Road wheels are no-rib types which were seen on the KV-2 and early KV-1 models, plus return rollers with rubber rims.
• Features large-diameter idler wheels which were equipped with the early and middle production models. (The KV-1 model has small-diameter late production type.)
• The massive turret with 152mm howitzer is box-type assembly, and its surface such as armor plate and weld lines are authentically depicted.
• Main gun barrel has a realistic rendering of rifling near the muzzle.
• The lower and upper hulls, and tracks are the same as the ones of the KV-1 kit.
• Assembly type tracks feature one-piece straight sections and recreate upper run “sag”.
• Choose between open or closed hatches.
• Comes with two marking options, one crew torso, and one commander full figure.

Tamiya 35379 1/35 U.S Infantry Scout Set
Tamiya is delighted to announce the release of a U.S. infantry set to follow the popular German army set (Item 35371 released in 2019). Various series of the short-sleeve M41 jacket and leggings had been the staple of the American Army uniform around June 1944 when the Invasion of Normandy occurred, but from summer in that year onward, the new common uniform was developed for paratrooper, armored and mountain divisions, and the M43 field jacket and 2-buckle boot became common. It’s been 27 years since the last new release of a U.S. infantry set (Item 35192), so this upcoming release will give modelers further options to accessorize their 1/35 scale WWII dioramas!

Tamiya 12051 1/12 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG Street-Custom RE-ISSUE
Tamiya welcomes back a large-scale favorite with the re-issue release of the Fairlady 240Z. Released in October 1969, the Nissan Fairlady Z went on to become a world-renowned high-performance sports car. A stylish long nose, short deck body was married with a 2-liter inline-6 engine and cushioned by 4-wheel independent strut suspension. The 240Z was an export version with 2.4-liter engine that was also released for the Japanese market in November 1971 on the back of excellent race performance. The top-grade variant of the car was the 240ZG, whose form was accented with the long “G nose” and FRP over fenders, and a plethora of tune-up parts was available to those faithful owners who wanted to tweak its performance and stamp their individuality on this legendary car.
This large scale 1/12 model recreates the Fairlady 240ZG, released in Japan in 1971, fitted with a host of tune-up parts typical of the era.

The Tamiya vast line up of radio-controlled model tanks just got bigger! This R/C tank recreates the Centurion in 1/16 scale as a radio control model. The Centurion Mk. It was also deployed in the Korean War in 1950, and showed off overwhelming strength which saved the Allied forces from crisis many times. The production reached about 2,800 between 1948 and 1956. After the Korean War, the Mk. III were deployed in European countries, but also other areas such as India, Israel, and Egypt with their formidable force.
