Tamiya 58740 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 (BT-01 Chassis)


The BT-01 2-wheel motor frame offers FF/MR/FR configuration choices.
Tamiya introduces a new short pass model that uses this frame in the rear track configuration (MR).
The body shop recreates the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8.
The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend of the Porsche 911 series, developed to compete in the European GT races in 1973, and featured a 2,687cc, six-cylinder horizontally opposed engine capable of producing 210 hp.
The Corsa Carrera RSR 2.8 version has increased cylinder capacity to 2,808 cc and power over 300 CV; In 1973 he became European champion of Corsica GT and won numerous global victories.

Information about the model:
• R/C model assembly kit in 1/10 scale. Length: 457mm, width: 204mm, height: 138mm. Height: 251mm. (Short).
• The shape of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 is thoroughly restored in light polycarbonate.
• The silver-colored rims (front: wide, back: wide / red rims and co-pricers are separate) are combined with slick running rubber (front: item 50454, back: item 50547). Please note that the kit does not have internal splinters either front or back.
• Stamped plastic parts to recreate rear view mirrors.
• The 2WD BT-01 frame offers the possibility of switching between two types of pass and front or rear tracking systems. Without removing the battery, the motor and the R/C impeller parts, it is possible to change the configuration of the model, for example: front or rear track (FR), or it is possible to choose the position of the rear motor towards the centre (MR) for the car in rear track. The double oscillating arm on the 4 wheels and the suspensions feature a uniform structure and friction shock absorbers. Single sections such as engine support, final gears and suspensions facilitate assembly and limited maintenance. A wide range of options allows you to personalize the model.
