It would be nice if Tamiya release the old series of mini 4wd dash yonkuro(type 1 and 3 chassis).
I would be happy if I have those re-release dash yonkuro

    it would be charming to have a 1/14 london routemaster bus , and a 1/10 mclaren P1 gt-r body set 190mm , 200mm.

Alloy front hubs for the M07 would be my hope and my wish would be a Mini Marcos shell for the M-Chassis.

  6. JohniGo

I’d like to see more armored vehicles on the scale of 1/48!

    a) T-72’s partner for Abrams
    b) T-35 five-tower Soviet heavy tank

    Happy New Year!

  7. ernieks

C’mon Tamiya, bring the Top Force Evolution please! 😉

And an original Ranger XLT would be nice, and an original Lancia Rally on the ORV Chassis, but seems hopeless because of the upcoming TA02S.

A happy new year to everybody!

  8. Tony.T

    a) Super Hornet (58124)

    b) – about 1/14th RC tractor truck, the 2016 Scania “S” hard body
    – in M-Chassis, a 210 mm wheelbase M07 version with a new iconic body (like the Austin Mini Cooper)
    – in High Lift, the Toyota Hilux 2017 as Toyota did with their real pick-up truck (Mountaineer like).

  9. Kotov Alexey

Happy New Year! Please continue AFV kits in 1/48! For example SU-76, Studebaker US6, M3 Scout and half-tracks, BT-7 and more!

  10. Dash

FF05 with many many new shells from TCR touring car racing series. That would be great.
New M-Chassis body shells, not only a re-introduction of old stuff.

  11. Alfred

    a) 1/12 Porsche 934 and 935 static model;
    b) 1/12 Ferrari 288GTO static model, not the semi-assembled version.

    Happy New Year!

  12. paresh

I would love to see Tamiya come out with a 1/24 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio kit as well as a modern Porsche 911. The geek in me would love to see someone produce a large scale kit of the galaxy class starship from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Thank you for all the great posts and all the best in the new year!!!

    A) I wish they would produce some new releases of the current generation of rally cars in 1/10th scale. It seems lately the R/C line up from tamiya seems to be completely devoid of any modern WRC rally car (Even re-re’s are thin on the ground in this category). Really hoping that 2017 toyota yaris WRC car shown at the event wasn’t just a flash in the pan.

    B) As above the current gen of WRC car; Fiesta RS, citroen c3 wrt, i20 Coupe or toyota yaris WRC. Would be happy with all or any these, especially the yaris. Or if planning re-re’s consider the following: Mitsubishi lancer evo 6, Ford Focus, Escort RS, peugeot 206, corolla or suzuki sx4.

  14. xonox

I think i posted the same thing last year : more Tamiya 3-speed. They have a fantastic setup.
Tamiya could re-use most elements of this setup and make something to compete with the RC4wd trucks.

I also wish that Tamiya would make a really solid steering kit for the CC-01. The stock steering setup is not very good.

More 4×4 hard bodies are also welcome 🙂

  15. Robert

I would like to see Tamiya release the following:

    F104 based Mercedes W08
    1/10 Lamborghini Aventador
1/10 Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo
    1/10 McLaren P1 GTR
    1/10 Ferrari F488 GTB
    1/10 Toyota 4Runner

  16. Bert

    a) Tamiya might re release Cheetah this year.

    b) I would like to see a more realistic SJ30 body that fits CC01. It would be awesome if Tamiya brings back sailing models. Also an rc snowcat.

  17. PaulH

First of all thank you Tamiya for all the re-releases. Please Re-Release the Ford F150 Ranger, the Toyota Pick up 4×4, the Blazing Blazer, the King Cab, the Hilux Monster Racer and the Bear Hawk.

  18. Gerardo de Kort

    Please Re-release the Tamiya Astute!
The King Cab or Top Force Evolution would be welcomed too.
Perhaps they could release a proper rear engined Porsche 911 (4wd). Before Porsche stops making them..
And how about a new front suspension (modern F1) as standard. F105? Interchangeable or a new hanging style.

  19. TIMEMOTION

    Hoping:
    1/10 thunder shot
    1/10 thunder dragon
    1/10 juggernaut 2
    1/20 mammoth dump
    1/10 Blazing Blazer
    1/10 King Cab
    1/10 Hilux Monster

Thank you tamiya and kyosho. I will be still crazy for you both.

  20. Vitaliy

Badly Needed more ground veehicles of cold war era in 1/48: T-72, M60, Chieftains, Leopards, etc.

  21. H.J.

    Happy new year.
My wish is a Peugoet 205 rally RC body for use on the M-chassis. Think of all the liveries possible for this iconic car.

  22. Jesper Klausen

Plus one for a Peugeot 205, but will also like a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth.

I will take a Celica gr. B too though ?

    Happy New Year To TamiyaBlog,

2017 have been a great year for Mini 4WD.
Seen many development in Mini 4WD especially was surprise
    to FM-A.
Firstly before I comment what I hope to see in 2018.
I would like to say Thank you to Tamiya as well as wish you Happy New year too.

    Here are my wishlist:
    Tamiya Mini 4WD
    – HG Mini 4WD Motors
Example HG Rev Tuned (Magnum) motor, HG Torqued Tuned (Sonic) Motor
which have better brush as well as higher output for competitions.
Still waiting for a specialized tuned motor for pro chassis.
    – Re-lease Tamiya 15198 Sliding damper with brake
Same design but three point attachment than one point.
As one point could break easily especially in intense technical track.
    – Re-lease Tamiya 15176 down thrust aluminium roller (For Standard and Pro chassis)
Same metal design but hopefully allow smaller size roller
    – Re-lease Tamiya 15093 Stabilizing Pole
This will allow user to install FRP so can put damper and etc. in the centre of the Mini 4WD.
Somehow I hope this would re-lease.
    – Re-lease Tamiya 15167 and 15143
Aluminium Multi function rear stay but with rubber brake
    – HG One Way Wheel (Carbon RIM with metal internal gear to absorb shock during jumps)
Tamiya 15120, 15213, 15137. Such tire are good for corners but can get damaged during jumps.
    – Tamiya pneumatic tires Full set Small Diameter, Low Profile and Large Diameter
    – Wide tire tread for Tamiya 15443 Low Profile.
The front can stay at 60mm wheelbase but the rear wise it should be wider at 64mm.
Body cover like Great Blast Sonic using 15443 the rear tire is really weird as it sinks inside.
    – MS Chassis N05/T05
Wish to see a wider arm type of Nose and tail for MS, not to mention certain Fully cowled covers
like Bison. If FRP is installed, the body cover really is hard to slide on.
    – Improve version of Tamiya 15377 especially allow installation of double 19mm roller as well as better reach. Current design only allow installation of either double roller size of 13/9 or mix but really noisy during run.
    – Improve version of Tamiya 15362 like allow roller size of 19, 17mm, 13 mm.
    – HG Bendable Damper Screw/Damper pole (Rubber material)
One annoying thing when using screw to install damper in front is that it gets bend easily.
Bending back is not possible only replacement.
To adjust the damper effect, a nut can be used but the nut keeps spinning during run thus
it may jam the damper. Maybe a stopper instead of a nut so to allow adjusting the damper effects.
    – Small Diameter Narrow Tread Tires (Soft, Hard and Offset) for VS, MS and etc. cars
    – Small Diameter Racing Slick Tires (Soft, Hard and Offset)
    – 9mm plastic roller
    – 13mm metal bearing roller with O-ring
    – Skid brake tapes (For uphill)

Unlike many I don’t mod and I test almost all of Tamiya parts whether legacy and new.
Certain parts need slight improvement to improve it’s usefulness especially the damper screw.
    Thank you,
    Max Li

I missed my chance to get the 58456 Gallardo Super Trofeo body and would love to get another chance at it. An Aventador body would also be welcome. I’d also like to see a scale hard body for the TXT-2.

  34. Denuss

In addition to my last comment (“Toyota Yaris WRC 2017! (Or 2018, depending on how it will look like.. :D)”). Preferable as a 1:10 RC body. The XV-01 is great. With the Yaris WRC body it would be perfect!

  35. Heng

Re re the Tamiya Radio Control Guide books in the 80s. Maybe in the form of a bundled 5 to 15 years series.

  36. MD

    Please, please, please!

    CC01 Jeep Wrangler YJ re-re

    Or

    CC01 Jeep Wrangler JK/JL

    Make it happen Tamiya!!!

  37. Eric Wong

    (a) Following the release of several TA-02S(W) models, it is logical to predict that TA-02 common optional parts (such as propeller shaft, motor mount, carbon or FRP chassis, FRP damper mounts, etc) would come back. It would be best if some new option parts are designed following re-release of the chassis as in the case of CC-01.

    (b) I personally love the TA-03 series because it is the time where I got addicted into RC. Plus some un-replaceable iconic bodies like the Benz CLK-GTR, Porsche 911 GT1, Mitsubishi EVO 4 and 5, etc. (Aside from licensing issues, which I know is expensive to deal with,) it would be beneficial to your sales if most (if not all) old bodies would be re-released on modern chassis, as in the case of mini-4wd. Many of us simply bought a kit (maybe when we were a kid haha) just because of its attractive body. I can see the TT-02 and the previous TT01 lines are doing this but please release more, more and more bodies.

  38. Bob

    a)
    – The 1/12 RC213V from a satellite team, with different rims, fork and brakes.
The sprue of the Repsol is ready for that !

    – The XL1000 Africa Twin in 1/12 scale

    b)
    – All plastic kits related to Dakar race : NXR750, R80G/S, 405T16, Pajero 92′
    – 1/24 Mazda 787 B

  39. Joe

Would like to see re-release of the 1/10 “Astute” R/C.
Also new Battleships, Have you every thought about partnering with “World of Warships?” the online gaming….and offering new 1/350 battleship/Destroyer/Cruiser/Aircraft Carrier Models.

  40. FromageTheDog

Still pining for a Hotshot (or similar chassis — Fire Dragon, Thunder Dragon, etc.) re-re-re…

Otherwise: Falcon, Striker, Sonic Fighter, Bearhawk would all be nice to see again…

  41. David

If I can throw in my two cents, I strongly feel that Tamiya should release the Top Force EVO in its full glory. I personally purchased three 2017 Top Force as soon as they were available, and if the Top Force EVO would be brought back I could see myself stocking up with no less than 3 EVOs.

  42. Alex Bishop

    a) static, RC, accessories – paints, tools…
    b) Churchill tank in 1/48 scale, SU-76M self propelled gun in 1/48 scale.

  43. Gamepuppy

Please re-release the Porsche 959 4WD & Celica Gr.B 4WD or at least the easily doable classics like the Hotshot II and Blazin Blazer. I also have been waiting for Tamiya to re-release the 80’s RC Guide books, possibly as suggested already as a collectively bound book editions.

  44. william Julian Allen

    Dear Tamiya
I have been recently collecting and building your beautiful 1/6 scale motorcycle series.
My latest purchase is your recent release of the Honda Africa Twin.
It is the state of the art in model kits.
I have purchased the Suzuki Katana.Kawasaki Z1300,Yamaha Midnight special,Harley Davidsons, etc but was wondering why you have never made a model in 1/6 of a British Motorcycle?
Old British Motorcycles such as Triumphs,Royal Enfields,BSA’S are Beautiful works of art and are very Desirable.
I cannot believe that you have never produced a model of the ‘Rolls Royce’ of all motorcycles, the Brough Superior?
You make Japanese bikes,German bikes,American bikes but you do not cater for us British.WHY?
    Come on Tamiya,Play fair.
    Thank you
    Julian

  45. Wolfgang

  51. Tim

A happy new year from Norther Germany:

Being a Tamiya Fan for over 30 Years now, both Plastic and RC, I started to re-collect all the iconoc Tamiya RC Cars, I was wanting as a kid in the 80s, when I spent every free Minute at a local hobby-stor in front of the Tamiya RC-Car Shelf…..

I would really like to see the following RC Cars re-released, to get my Collection of childhood-dreams more completed:
    – Astute
    – Super Astute
    – Vanquish
    – The Falcon
    – Egress
    – Porsche 959 4WD
    – Mazda 787B 24h Le Mans

    A….and yes, a re-release of the 80’s and 90#s Radio Controlled Handbooks…..PLEASE!

  52. Shane Peterson

    My wish list is:
    Vanquish
    Terra Scorcher
    Hotshot II
    Astute/Super Astute
Love the ones I have already though! Plus I see there are a couple new pre-painted & trimmed body options now, that is AWESOME!!!!

  53. J. Perez

    I would like to see the following from Tamiya: 1. 1:35 T-14 Russian Armata tank. 2. 1:48 Grumman TBF/TBM Avenger 3. 1:48 F-22 Raptor 4. 1:48 F-35 Lighting II 5. 1:48 North American X-15
There are several kits of the Armata out (Svezda & Panda Hobby), but I would appreciate one with Tamiya’s superb fit and engineering. There is a need for an up-to-date kit of the Avenger. Likewise, there are kits of the Raptor and Lighting II out, none to Tamiya’s standards. Finally, the X-15. It broke many records, and helped open the frontiers of space. Thanks.

  54. John Phillips

    A. No idea really but keeping in line with the release of the TA07, 419 and the brilliant M07. More development on the RC front reflecting the current vehicles in WRC, WTC and maybe even MotoGP

    B. The development of the M08X – SWB/Scales down version of the TA07. 4WD and the ability to have the traditional 210, 225 & 239 WB. Tamiya set the mark at 210mm and the world has followed. The TA05 M-Four was superb (all be it expensive) but the concept was sound. It’s a same that people like Xpress are now seemingly beating Tamiya at there own game.

The absence of Tamiya EuroCup in the UK for some years has left other companies to cease their chance within the UK Market. Knowing that EuroCup was based largely on standard kits was all part of the fun. Tamiya JP seems to have rekindled that passion with the Dancing Rider, to bring back EC in the UK would allow the UK to show yet again that we have drivers capable of winning World Championships as has been done in the past. Either that or I move to Spain, Germany or any European state that still runs the series.

  55. Mr Bean

I really hope that Tamiya will come out with a 2018 Toyota Yaris WRC Rally car with a XV chassis ( same sort of the good old ( Delta Integrale, Subaru WRC or Lancer Evo WRC or old Corolla WRC car)

  56. AG

    B:
I would love to have :
    Dyna Storm
    Toyota Hilux (58086)
    Astute / Super Astute
    Top Force Evo
    Ford Escort RS (Not WRC)

  57. eric

I wish to see the Porsche 959 and the Toyota Celica to be reproduced. I’d be first in line to get both!!

  58. Josh

Would love to see the 1/10 R91CP. I missed it when they brought it back. Finished body would be even better. Would go nice with my 787B and XJR12.

Would also like to see the 1/24 787B.

  59. Sanny

I’d like a re-release of the Tamiya Thunder Dragon (58073) or equivalent series (Thunder Shot, Fire Dragon).
I regret I trashed it as it was a wonderful fast and easy handling car (for me)

  60. John

I’d love to see something very unique, the Casspir Mark 3 “106” Recoilless Rifle Weapons Carrier in 1/35 scale. Or the Buffalo MRAP.

  61. Anthony

    a) Multi aircraft Pearl Harbour Aircraft Set – Zero, Val, Kate
    b) 1/350 WW1 Battleships/Battlecruisers. This is a bit of trend in releases from other makers but nobody has yet done key flagships at the Battle of Jutland – German (SMS Friedrich der Grosse and SMS Lutzow), British (HMS Iron Duke and HMS Lion). Seems an obvious gap in the market.

  62. Peter Mispelkamp

How about re-issuing your series of 1/400 scale IJN heavy cruisers of WWII?
These kits are ridiculously expensive on eBay and other collector sites.

I hope you consider this, or find a company that might be willing to partner with you (Squadron’s Encore for example).

  63. James

Hi, Love the re release of the top force, had to buy my kit from Germany as we’re sold out in uk. Shame there were no hi cap shocks left to buy for my new buggy. Hopefully as Tamiya are so good they will make some more. The hi cap shocks part 47358 went so quick as they are very good. Let’s keep the vintage tamiya racing going. Such a great time racing the older buggies. My only other wish from tamiya are to re release the top force evolution which would sell in the million. Please tamiya release this buggy again & you won’t be sorry it will fly out & put many smiles on rc racers. Many thanks James

  64. Adam

Tamiya should re-release the Bear Hawk and the Madcap. These 2 cars captured my love for RC cars in the 90’s and still look amazing to this day. They have become quite collectable in the second hand market which means there is still love for these cars even now. Come on Tamiya do it!
