Tamiya’s Guide for the 41st Japan Hobby Show Exhibition


Japan’s largest handmade hobby event that will celebrate the 41st year this year, the Japan Hobby Show will be held. The theme of the hobby show in 2017 is “fine quality.” Booths that can meet various suggestions, works and materials that increase the value of handmade stand side by side. At the Tokyo Big Sight at the venue, companies, creators, lecturers on handmade gather, exhibitions, sales, workshops etc. will be held from 4/27 (Thu) to 4/29 (Sat) over 3 days. At the Tamiya booth, we introduce craft tools that are easy to handle around “decoration series”. We also perform demonstration using products and experience of making sweet decoration (fee).

Sweets decoration writer “Mr. Keiichi Yamada” workshop. We teach directly to Mr. Kei Yamada who publishes many books. (Fruit parts other than blueberries will be finished in coloring on what was formable.)

■ Production experience “Kuma jelly parfait”

A workshop to make using Tamiya decoration series. Below the parfa glass we make strawberry jelly with “transparent epoxy resin”, ice cream in the form of bear and fruit parts on it, and finish with a whip to serve. Let ‘s enjoy creating cute parfaits for your room interior! (Pafé glasses are filled with epoxy resin beforehand and used solidified.)
