This is an event report on the ‘TAMIYA BLOCKHEAD MOTORS RC PICNIC’, held on Saturday 20 June and Sunday 21 June 2026 at ‘sotosotodays CAMP GROUNDS Yamanakako Misaki’, situated on the shores of Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture.
With the theme of ‘RC × Outdoor × Camp’, this event allowed participants to enjoy Tamiya RC cars amidst the great outdoors. The venue featured a diverse range of activities, including a ‘special obstacle RC circuit’ where visitors could drive their own or hire RC cars, as well as RC trial runs, Tamiya RC car racing sessions, an RC Walk, an RC sports day, a parade run, and exhibitions by popular outdoor brands and shops. Please take a look at the highlights of this event, where RC fans of all ages—from children to adults—enjoyed the great outdoors whilst camping and gathering round campfires.
