@GreatDane: smart guess.
But still curious to see the system since it looks like a deck chassis plate.
@Admin: how comes you still haven’t published crusty new releases to be presented at Shizuoka Hobby Show? Come on, unleash your super detective skills π

We have presented already 2 interesting new releases, lets see if we can get more π

Correct me if I am way off here, but don’t you post new releases only when Tamiya officially post the news on there website?
But I don’t mind jump the band wagon and go along with Black Hole Sun: let’s see some more, please π

No, we have posted several times items before Tamiya’s official news release, but we like to confirm early news as often they are just speculations.
The fair is in more then one month, so I guess we have to show some patience, most “leaks” were usually only few days before the fairs, so we can be happy to have already 2.

The chassis seems to be very well distributed among the masses.
My question is: Where is the battery?
I think in a central position as the DF03, but the place seems small.
58493 1/10 RC Savanna RX-7 (SA) (M06) (prototype)
Despite having a true 58xxx serial number, is it a true release since you specified it is a test marketing? Any further information on the future of this item?

According to some sources it will be also a true release around May/June in Japan.

I saw this one at a forum yesterday (monday).
It seems like Tamiya is going back to TA03’ish belt drivetrain and a FF03 chassis layout.
But what’s wrong with the TA05, Tamiya?
And also the front suspension, it seem a bit lower then the IFS Tamiya introduced some time ago. Lower slunk bodies will emerge in the future?
Needless to say, I am looking forward to see more of this π
Any delay in Tamiya releasing a list of news to be introduced at The Shizuoka Hobby Show?

This chassis looks very compact. I wonder how you release the battery pack on it.
Wouldn’t this be the first Tamiya chassis to be presented with a TBLE or Transpeed brushless system?
@Black Hole Sun
My guess is that the battery is released from the bottom.
