A special kit based on the mini 4WD version of “Boomerang”, a famous car that built one era in the 1980’s RC car boom, “Boomerang RS” (released in 2005).
The aerodynamic form where the body of the wedge shape is directly connected to the large rear wing is characteristic.
The chassis adopts the popular “VS” type currently in the mini 4WD race scene, and it is possible to make quick cornering making use of light weight & short wheelbase.

Tamiya products won the model of the year awards from German model magazine Modell Fan


The selection result of 2017 model (model of the year) elected by the German scale model magazine “Modell Fan” was announced at the Nürnberg Spielwaren Messe venue. From the new model released in Germany in 2017, the best models of each genre are selected by the selection committee of “Modell Fan” magazine reader vote and editorial staff. This time “1/48 Messerschmitt Bf 109 G – 6” “1/6 Honda CRF 1000 L Africa Twin” was awarded.

German magazine Modell Fan has announced its Modell des Jahres (Models of the Year) at Spielware nmesse! Tamiya is delighted that our 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 and 1/6 Honda CRF 1000 L Africa Twin models were both honored with awards, which are chosen by the magazine’s staff and readership.
