Purple colored special machine
This is a plastic model assembly kit of a four-wheel drive racer that is fun to race with its high performance. The Manta Ray Mk.II CITY CIRCUIT Special is a special machine designed for the “City Circuit Tokyo Bay” in Odaiba, Tokyo, planned and operated by Tom’s, which is involved in real car racing activities and car custom parts development. The body, which is modeled after a ray swimming in the ocean, is the same purple color as the EV carts (motor-powered racing carts) that run here. It features a left-right split rear wing and a raised front fender. In addition to the body markings, the “CITY CIRCUIT” and TOM’s logos are provided as special metallic stickers. The chassis is an MA that combines good driving efficiency with ease of assembly. The chassis body is black, while the rollers and gear covers are coordinated with the same purple as the body. The special low-friction tires (maroon) with the “CITY CIRCUIT TOKYO BAY” logo pad-printed tighten the feet.

MA Chassis Pursuing Driving Efficiency
“MA” stands for Midship AERO. The “MS Chassis” has a midship layout with a double shaft motor mounted in the center of the vehicle, and the “AR Chassis” is designed with particular attention to airflow (aero) while driving. The “MA Chassis” combines the excellent features of each into one chassis. Of course, by utilizing the racing know-how accumulated so far, the driving performance has been thoroughly refined, with a 3.5:1 gear ratio, six low-friction resin rollers, and a rear skid bar as standard equipment. In addition, the adoption of an integrated monocoque structure has improved ease of assembly and maintenance. This chassis can be used by a wide range of racers, from beginners to veteran racers, and from races using two-lane and three-lane courses to official competitions on large special five-lane circuits.
