According to unconfirmed rumours:

★ Runs on 4 AA batteries
★ 2WD Buggy
★ 370 motor size
★ New body is designed from Mr. Nezu Kota that also designed that of Astral Star Raikiri
★ Racing spec is also considered
As written above these are unconfirmed rumors, final spec will be revealed in the Shizuoka Hobby Show in mid May.
Probably designed and marketed to be a transition from Mini 4WD to usual RC cars, hopefully it will be more successful then the Boy Racer and Tamtech series.
Anyone else thinking Tamiya’s attempt to compete with the Kyosho Mini Z?
Personally I don’t see a competition between them as Mini Z is more filigree and hightech and less a simple first RC car for children.
