I really, really like the look of this. It is a copy of the 1/32 mini series Avante Black although this comes with Pink wheels. I hope Tamiya do the same with this 1/10 scale version and it too gets Pink Egress tear drop wheels. I will definitely be buying one of these, i am going to start saving for it now.
The most important thing about this release is the motor.
If this a super stock with a fancy sticker -excellent -it will go like a missile! If its been reinforced with egress – like upgrades-also fine as it stands a higher chance of survival during wear and tear-and a crash.
However a GT motor on a new -super Avante would simply be “more of the same” despite its new colour scheme. Therefore this release is, in my opinion, at least dependant on its motor. The inclusion of a RZ/BZ/TZ would be brilliant -along with needed upgrades to handle to extra power and speed!
In principle though -this is potentially a very exciting release!
It will be a 25T motor, possibly the same as with the “normal” AV re-release and also the upcoming Super Hotshot, but with a different label, an ok choice for collectors, since racers would anyway use a modern brushless one or even better not race such fragile and outdated cars at all.
