Thanks guys and well done 😉

I have been waiting – and waiting – for the pics to show up on your website…..

And now they are finally here. Ahhh, great!!!

No real surprises, but the Maersk Trailer is nice and the vast number of Formula one cars is massive – although you only show the Lotus, but there are also two McLaren Formula one cars and there is the Ferrari 643 (according to Tamiyas website).

    More to come…??? 😉

Thank you, unfortunately the other F1 cars and Honday CR-Z body weren’t ready for the fair.

That Maersk trailer is really impressive.

What type of chassis is that Super Fighter GR? Is that a entry-level kit?

Yes, its DT-02 and actually a Super Fighter G with other colours, in Germany there is a very successful cup race for kids with them since 15 years, called Fighter Cup.

Now the only thing that completes the Maersk trailer is for Tamiya to release a vehicle to lift the container on and off the trailer.

Not much fun removing the container on and off by hand. 😉

I know it’s a re-release, but I am stunned by the look of the Merc. It looks great. Tamiya did a great job on that body back then.

Yes, I also thought the same, dreaming of a container terminal at the fair 🙂

Also agree on the 190E, never thought before it would look so good as a “civil” version, shame only they didn’t make front light reflectors for the new version as they did to some other older bodies, this way it would be a real stunner!

So this was the Nuremberg International Toy Fair 2011.

Was any of you guys happy with the releases?

Now, I am looking forward to the Shizuoka Hobby Show in may’ish – with a list of what Tamiya will release publiced a month prior to the show.

    I know, I’m out early 😉

We found the Nuremberg releases quite unspectacular as we had predicted (it really seems that Tamiya nowadays presents the most important news in Japan), but guess we are also spoiled by them, the news on other model companies were are even less and more disappointing. We also look already forward to the Shizuoka news.

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find out the estimated or actual release dates for future release models? Tried the Tamiya website and also searched online but can’t seem to find any information. I’m based in the UK and have been watching for the 1:12 Fiat Yamaha ’09 Estoril Edition being released.

    Cheers

The 14120 kit was released in Japan on 26th February so should be soon also in other countries.

I have the M-06 and what a great little car. I owned the M-04, and now that Tamiya has reengineered the mini in a rear drive, the drivability is tremendous. I might even stop driving my sedan. Maybe.
